Program
Weight Loss Treatment
NAYA's weight-management program includes injectable treatment options prescribed and monitored by a medical provider. Your health history, current medications, previous weight-loss efforts and goals are reviewed before treatment begins. If medication is appropriate, your provider will recommend an option and starting dose, then adjust the plan based on your response and tolerance.

Available treatments
Tirzepatide
Weekly injection. Treatment starts at 2.5 mg, and the dose goes up in steps of 2.5 mg no sooner than every four weeks.
Semaglutide
Weekly injection. Treatment starts at 0.25 mg and the dose is reviewed about every four weeks.
Liraglutide
Dulaglutide
Availability may vary by state and pharmacy. Your provider will discuss the options currently available and medically appropriate for you.
How treatment works
- Review of health history and current medications
- Discussion of goals, previous treatment and relevant risk factors
- Individual treatment and dosing plan when appropriate
- Follow-up visits and dose review
- Laboratory testing when clinically indicated
Clinical evaluation
Weight-management medication is prescribed after a medical evaluation. As general guidance, pharmacologic weight management may be considered for adults with:
- BMI of 30 or higher
- BMI of 27 or higher with a relevant weight-related health condition
BMI is one part of the assessment. Medical history, medications and other relevant factors are reviewed before treatment is considered.

Questions
How quickly will I see something happen?
The starting dose is deliberately low and goes up no faster than every four weeks, so the first month is mostly about tolerating the medication. Weight, waist and appetite are tracked at every visit and the plan is adjusted from there.
Does the price go up when my dose goes up?
Yes. Each dose has its own monthly price, from $300 to $550. If a dose is working for you, you stay on it, and the price stays where it is.
Will I need blood work?
Usually at the start: A1c or fasting glucose, a metabolic panel, lipids and thyroid, plus a pregnancy test where that applies. What gets ordered depends on your history, and it is repeated only when there is a reason. Labs are billed separately.
Do I have to change how I eat as well?
Yes, and the targets are specific: protein at 1.2 to 1.6 g per kg of body weight, 25 to 35 g of fiber a day, and 150 minutes of moderate activity a week with two days of strength work. Medication makes the appetite side easier. The targets still have to be met.
What happens if I stop?
Appetite returns and weight often comes back. If you are thinking about stopping, say so at a visit: your provider can lower the dose gradually or discuss what maintenance would look like instead.
